"Sharing the Experience" of life's lessons leads to inspiration and motivation of others. In my 30 years in Banking and the last 8 years in Toastmasters, I have witnessed and learned many elements to succeed.
I successfully led a leadership team as District Governor to reach Toastmasters Distinguished District award in the 2010-2011 Plan Year, a performance award measuring the success of the District level leadership in supporting Toastmasters in Chapters (also known as Clubs) across the States of Wisconsin and the Northwestern portion of Michigan. Toastmasters engage in Chapters to help each other reach their leadership and communication goals and the Chapter's success goals as well. I was also part of the leadership team that successfully reached this distinction in 2008-2009 Plan Year (postion: Lt. Governor Marketing) and in the 2009-2010 Plan Year (position: Lt. Governor Education and Training), earning Toastmasters International's Excellence in Marketing and Excellence in Education and Training, respectively. As the 2010-2011 Year was the third year in a row that the District reached Distinguished status, we will be receiving the Excellence in Leadership award from Toastmasters International.
The District is composed this year of over 1700 members in 102 Toastmasters Chapters.
